Event Description:
“Oh, the places you’ll go when you read a great book!” March 2, 2018 is National Reading Across America Day, AND March is also National Reading Awareness month!
So…we are challenging all children to take the “Cat in the Hat” Reading Challenge! Read five books through the month of March and receive a reading certificate, pencil and bookmark from the Library! Mom and Dad, you can read with your preschoolers! Pick up your reading log at the Library! ***Mark your calendars for the “Cat in the Hat Celebration”, March 24, 2018, 2-3PM! Enjoy Dr. Seuss favorite stories, a cool activity and yummy snacks! Questions? Please call 231-378-2716. Library located at 14744 Thompson Ave., Thompsonville ****Remember, you can come and read with therapy dogs Chaz and Denny every 3rd Wednesday at the Library from 5PM—6PM!
