On Tuesday February 10, from 11am-noon, the League of Women Voters-Grand Traverse Area (LWV-GTA) in collaboration with Benzie Shores District Library (BSDL) will present a program on informational hygiene for voters and civically engaged citizens. We'll discuss how to find trustworthy sources and how to tell facts apart from mis- and dis-information. This is the second in a series of three programs. The third program on Feb 24, 11am on “Civics at Home: Getting Involved in Local Government”. These will also be held at the Benzie Shores District Library. The speaker for this program will be Alice Schuman, Voter Services Co-Chair for Grand Traverse Area League of Women Voters. Benzie Shores District Library is a welcoming community resource that fosters learning, creativity, social connections, and opportunities. We are located at 630 Main Street, Frankfort, Michigan 49635. The LWV is a national, nonpartisan organization whose main mission is to empower and inform voters and to defend Democracy.
