OAC Plein Air Frankfort 2024

Plein Air Frankfort sparks up at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 21st at the Oliver Art Center on the shores of Betsie Bay. Participating artists will get into the creative flow, and battle for glory (and prize money).  Pre-Registration is required. Artists will check in at the Oliver Art Center and are then free to capture the charm of Frankfort’s Victorian houses, the Lake Michigan beach, sailboats in the harbor or any subject within the city limits of Frankfort. The finished paintings will be displayed at an exhibit, reception and live auction taking place from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the Beck Gallery of the Oliver Art Center. Work will be juried by area artist Peggy Hawley and cash prizes will be awarded. The reception is free and open to the public.
